Michael is a South African trained physiotherapist who has recently made the move to Australia to pursue a career in hand and upper limb therapy.

Michael studies at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, attaining a BSc Physiotherapy with honours. He has worked in a variety of settings including neurological rehabilitation, cardiothoracic and cardiovascular rehabilitation, musculoskeletal setting and sports physiotherapy.

Michael opened his own sports physiotherapy clinic in Pretoria, South Africa working along side elite and school level athletes. These included Olympic Medallists, South African champions and various sports teams including the national baseball team of South Africa at U23 world cup and Senior African Championship and Olympic Qualifiers. He has also worked in school rugby organisations such as the Blue Bulls and Golden Lions.

Michael then moved to Australia in 2021 to begin the challenge of Hand Therapy and is currently working in the Drouin, Moe and Traralgon Clinics.

  • BSc in Physiotherapy (Honours)
  • Sports Physiotherapy Specialisation as granted by the Physiotherapy Society of South Africa
  • Member of the Australian Physiotherapy Council
